When should I set my garbage container out for pick-up?

Please set out bins, garbage cans in a visible location close to curb no later than 5:30 am or evening before on your collection day. As our area grows, collection times in your neighborhood may change.

On windy days, please place individual bins on the ground rather than stacking. Use a rock or brick to weigh down paper in bins and prevent wind-blown litter. Please bag ALL GARBAGE, especially Styrofoam Peanuts, to prevent wind-blown litter! Thank you for your cooperation.

What should I do if my pick-up is missed due to weather or poor road conditions?

You may be notified of an alternate day for collection. If it is not possible to collect in the same week. All material will be collected the next week on your normal scheduled collection day.

I missed my home garbage pick-up. What should I do?

Store it until your next regularly scheduled collection day.

What if I need an extra pick-up between regular collections or I have an extra large amount of home-generated garbage for pick-up?

Please call our office.
Additional garbage collected will result in additional charges.

Can I dispose of liquids in the garbage?

Small quantities of household liquids such as cooking oils and beauty products are acceptable. Access Disposal Garbage is unable to collect hazardous liquids such as pesticides, paints, thinners, solvents, fuels or cooking oils from businesses.

What size enclosure do I need at my new business?

While state law requires adequate space be provided at all new commercial establishments for storage and access to garbage and recycling containers, needs vary according to your business and location. Call our office to schedule a site visit.

What if my collection day falls on holiday?

Access Disposal collects on all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas. All other "Holidays" are collection as normal. If your collection day does fall on or after the two stated holidays we will run a day behind all week through Saturday. For example, if Christmas falls on a Monday and your regular collection day is Wednesday, you will get collected on Thursday of that week.  You will still receive a pickup that week. You will not have to store your trash for 2-3 weeks.
